Mental Health Outreach Worker

We have helped to commission a Mental Health Triage Service. There is now a Mental Health Practitioner working in the Lincolnshire Police Force Control room (FCR), and they operate seven days a week all year around, to assist with incidents relating to mental health and advise alternative mental health referral routes to avoid unnecessary detention or hospital attendance/admission, and to help divert cases away from the Criminal Justice System (where appropriate). Alongside this, there is now two Crisis Vehicular response cars that would seven days a week, all year round too. They respond to police incidents where police are in attendance and have been directed by the FCR mental health practitioner.
