Martin Wright

Martin’s career initially started in banking before he moved to the public sector to train in finance and become a qualified accountant. He worked for a number of commissioning organisations during his 30 year career in the NHS, ultimately becoming Chief Financial Officer for NHS Leeds North with specific focus on finance and corporate governance.

After taking early retirement in 2019 Martin served as a Board Member of NHS Commissioners in Kirklees and East Yorkshire. He was Chair of the Audit & Risk Committees and an active member of other Board sub-committees.
