Independent Assurance of the Lincolnshire Police approach to Violence Against Women and Girls

As your Police and Crime Commissioner, my focus is on our county and Lincolnshire Police.  I know that our Force takes the issue of violence against women and girls very seriously and the Chief Constable and I are both clear in our commitment to making our communities feel and be safer.

I have established an independent panel to review, scrutinise and advise me on the programme of work being undertaken by Lincolnshire Police to take forward matters relating to violence against women and girls.

This panel should also provide visibility and assurance to you, the public. Feedback will be presented at my Public Assurance meetings, which are video recorded. You can view the full recordings on our YouTube channel.

StreetSafe is a service for anyone to anonymously tell the police about public places where you have felt or feel unsafe, because of environmental issues, eg street lighting, abandoned buildings or vandalism and/or because of some behaviours, eg being followed or verbally abused.

Please note: 'StreetSafe' is not for reporting crime or incidents.

If something has happened to you or someone you know (including in public spaces online), call 101 or find out what online reporting services are available. If you're unsure whether something is a crime or not, read our advice.
